Unseen Dummy Award 2016

Unseen Dummy Award is a collaboration between Unseen Photo Amsterdam and a publishing company Lecturis, designed to showcase the work of exceptional artists from around the world; giving them the opportunity to publish their photobook. In September 2016, the Unseen Dummy Award held its fifth edition.

The international jury comprised of Irma Boom (designer), Sean O’Hagan (photography critic, The Guardian), Paul van Mameren (managing director, Lecturis) and Francesco Zanot (curator, Camera).

The winner of the Unseen Dummy Award was I loved my wife (Killing children is good for the economy) by Dieter De Lathauwer which was published by Lecturis and launched in March, 2017.

The Unseen Dummy Award has been made possible by Lecturis in cooperation with Wilco Art Books.
